Start-Up Circle Success Stories
Success Stories
Since 2021, Realize Bradenton has offered the Start-Up Circle program, a free cohort-style learning experience for aspiring and newly established entrepreneurs. The program helps participants build a strong foundation, gain confidence, and take meaningful steps toward owning and growing a business.
Five years later, Start-Up Circle graduates are putting their ideas into action across our community. This series celebrates their journeys and gives you a closer look at the people, passion, and purpose behind their businesses.

We asked Jamie to share more about the story behind her business, what she learned in the Start-Up Circle, and what she’s up to today. Here’s what she had to say…
Is there a story behind your business name?
My journey began with a single product: a shampoo bar crafted specifically for my own dogs. After receiving wonderful feedback from friends and family, I was encouraged to turn my passion into a business. I ultimately named the brand after my two dogs, Samson and Bondi, who remain the heart and inspiration behind everything I create.
Tell us about the biggest "ah-ha" moment you had during the Start-Up Circle...
My biggest “ah-ha” moment came during a presentation on developing the elevator pitch. I took very concise notes.
At the same time, I learned some of the things that I do really well and some things that I needed to improve on. It was a very insightful presentation.
What's one piece of advice from the program that you find yourself using every day?
One piece of advice from the program that I use everyday is to know my ideal client. I love participating in events and markets that are geared towards people with dogs, and I love to show them how my products are different from what’s currently available in stores.
Who is your ‘ideal customer’ and how do you want them to feel when they interact with your brand/business?
Our ideal customer would be the conscious consumer who loves local, small-batch quality. We started with our signature dog shampoo bars, but our passion for plant-based ingredients has grown to include refreshing products for you and your home. Our mission is simple: provide effective, wholesome products with ingredients you can recognize and feel great using.
