South Florida Museum: think + drink (science) - A Tale of Two Cities

Join us in the Planetarium on the 2nd Wednesday of most months at 7 pm as we bring local scientists and the science curious together for fun, enlightening conversations about topics you don’t get to discuss every day. Wine, beer, soda and snacks will be available for purchase.

June 10 – “A Tale of Two Cities: Maya Astronomical Practices at Chichen Itza and Mayapan, Mexico” with Dr. Gabrielle Vail.
In conjunction with our summer exhibition, Mystery of the Mayan Medallion, we will explore the early astronomy practiced in two Mayan cities.
