SFM think + drink (science): Did Dark Matter Kill the Dinosaurs? with Jeff Rodgers

Dark_matter_Dinos.jpgOn the second Wednesday of most months from, we transform the Bishop Planetarium into a forum for discussions at think + drink (science), a place where you can grab a beer or a glass of wine (or a soft drink) and learn about cutting-edge science in a relaxed, informal setting. Typically, our “expert du jour” gives a short presentation on the topic of the month, and then opens the floor for questions and discussion. This month: We’ll examine what we know about the five great mass extinctions and look at how dark matter might play a role in the periodic thinning of lifeforms on Earth.

Tickets: $3 Museum Members, $5 Non-members. Paid reservations required; RSVP online at SouthFloridaMuseum.org or call 941-746-4131, ext. 113.
