Amber Grace to serve a three-year term on Realize Bradenton’s board of directors.
BRADENTON, Fla. — Realize Bradenton, a nonprofit organization that brings people together, selected Amber Grace to serve on their Board of Directors for a three-year term. The Board of Directors promote redevelopment and economic growth in downtown Bradenton by transforming public places and engaging people using arts, culture, heritage, and food to build a vibrant, healthy Bradenton.
“We are pleased to have Amber join the Board of Directors," says Ann Breitinger, board Chair of Realize Bradenton. "As a new resident and a young professional who cultivates relationships with college-age individuals and other young professionals, she will provide valuable insight as Realize Bradenton continues informing and engaging Bradenton-area Millennials."
Originally from Pennsylvania, Amber moved to the area in 2016. She is the Talent Development Coordinator for Beall’s, Inc., where she cultivates partnerships with universities, community and business leaders to build talent pipeline. She is the founder of G.R.A.C.E. (Girls Rising Above Circumstances to Exceed), a mentoring program that reaches adolescent girls who participate in weekly mentoring sessions on topics including higher education and leadership. She is the recipient of the Women Rock Entrepreneur Award (2015) and Central Pennsylvania African American Museum Community Achievement Award (2015).
“I am honored to serve on the Realize Bradenton Board of Directors,” said Amber. “Having lived in Bradenton for a little over two years, Realize Bradenton exudes the passion and excitement I was looking for in a community to call home. I am delighted to work toward the positive impact of the organization and downtown Bradenton.”
