The City of Bradenton has contracted Kimley-Horn to develop a master plan that will guide the expansion of the Riverwalk eastward. Supported by a grant from the Knight Donor Advised Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation, Realize Bradenton worked with Kimley-Horn to coordinate resident participation.
These community-minded organizations are contributing ideas, volunteers, and other resources to support Creating Together and the expansion of Riverwalk.
As part of the grant, the Center for Active Design, a nonprofit that uses evidence-based design to foster healthy and engaged communities, worked with Realize Bradenton to conduct surveys of residents, exercise enthusiasts, business owners, visitors, and others. Click here for survey results.
