Downtown Bradenton Transit Station

Opened in 2012, the downtown Bradenton Transit Station features a vivid tile mural by Carlos Rolon of Chicago, IL. Rolon’s abstract artwork was inspired by the local environment — sun, water, and flora. The original artwork was transferred to the tile using computer-driven water saw, and then commercially applied to the 10-foot by 25-foot walls. There are two panels that are replicated with the design mirrored, for a total of four walls.
