BACKGROUND /// CONTEXT
10 years ago, the City of Bradenton's Downtown Development Authority (DDA) completed a citizen-driven visioning effort called Downtown by Design.
Considered the DDA’s roadmap to revitalizing downtown Bradenton, the plan builds upon the unique aspects of DowntownBradenton and addresses emerging redevelopment opportunities to ensure a diverse future as an urban center serving the needs of the City’s residents, businesses, and visitors.
The plan's vision is to enhance the Riverfront Downtown area as a beautiful, livable, walkable, higher density, mixed-use place and an asset to the entire community and region.
