Locals come here for fresh veggies, locally made items and great local entertainment. The market features cooking demos from local chefs, live performances by local musicians, including Dean Johanesen, Trevor Bystrom Duo, and yours truly. Every third Saturday, be sure to check out Mainly Art, where local artisans offer their artwork for sale.

mpac.jpgTheater: The Manatee Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is currently in its 2017–2018 season. Locals enjoy quality plays and musicals by some of the most talented community actors in the area. The Producers, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Peter Pan are just a few classics recently featured.
