A brief descriptions of WOW projects are below.

ArtSlam Returns on October 15

From 3-11pm, ArtSlam will energize Bradenton’s Old Main Street with hundreds of artists, thousands of spectators, live music and some of the most unique public art projects you’ll ever experience.  Projects will range from body-painting and marionette shows to a custom skateboard park and the nighttime release of a thousand paper airplanes.

Enjoy “out-of-the box” tap dancing, hula hooping, an art fashion show, video projections, and a drum circle.   Make art on a potter’s wheel, help paint a community mural, create art from recyclables, and dance to the music of a number of bands.  Visit the food court, as well as the great assortment of downtown restaurants and pubs.  Cast a vote for your favorite creative team from 5-10pm.  Creative team prize winners will be announced at 10:30.
