Cook Together Bradenton brings people to the Bradenton Farmers' Market and chef-owned restaurants to shop for fresh, locally grown produce and learn easy ways to prepare it themselves through demonstrations by local chefs and engaging online videos.

What Is The Giving Challenge 2016?

The Giving Challenge 2016 is an online fundraising event benefiting hundreds of participating regional nonprofits. Since 2012, donors from Southwest Florida have shown their love for local nonprofit organizations by providing more than $15 million in unrestricted funding to support their missions during the two-day giving event. Last year set a new standard for generosity in our community, when more than $7 million was raised in just 24 hours to benefit 449 registered nonprofits!

Who Makes The Giving Challenge Possible?

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County administers the Giving Challenge as a service to donors, nonprofits and the community. We partner with The Patterson Foundation, Manatee Community Foundation, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, William G. and Marie Selby Foundation, and the Herald-Tribune Media Group to make the Giving Challenge possible.
