mainly art logoOn October 21, 2017, and continuing every third Saturday through May, Mainly Art hosts dozens of local artists and craftspeople displaying and selling their unique creations. Enjoy art, crafts, and live music from 9am to 2pm on Fourth Avenue West.

Market Activities

family activityJoin our Community Partners for family and health-oriented activities every week.

Every Week – Sarabay Kids Zone is a free-to-the-community activity area with crafts from a simpler time. It will be lots of fun, with contests and crafts for children of all ages.

    • The Rainbow Kitchen – Demonstrations and sampling of simple, healthy recipes presented by the UF/IFAS Family Nutrition Program in Manatee County.
    • Master Gardeners - Learn more about growing plants in the Florida environment with Manatee County Master Gardeners.

    • Creative Learning Station - A place for ideas, storytelling, and interactive learning for children and their families with Manatee County Public Libraries.

    • Kids in the Kitchen – Noon, Nov.—May*: Children will gather a "grocery list" of fruits and veggies from the market and then prepare a healthy lunch with the help of Junior League members. Free with registration required at least 15 minutes prior at the chef's booth at the corner of Old Main Street and Fourth Ave. W. *Except Dec. 30, 2017.
